THEFT CRIME

Snatch thefts and related crimes are so rampant these days athat most people would know of family members, relatives, neighbours, friends or work colleagues who have met with such incidents. Following are tips to avoid snatch: _

*Be alert and walk against traffic
*Do not wear or carry expensive things that will catch people’s attention.
*Avoid deserted roads or alleys if you are alone.
*Carry as little cash as possible, unless you need it, and don’t keep all your cash in the same *purse or pocket.
*Never carry your purse or wallet in a very visible manner
*Walk confidently, so as not to appear as an easy target
*If your bag is snatched, don’t put up a fight as it is not worth getting hurt.

Violence not the solution

I received email from a fren with the title of Last week in Chennai college [ India ] 08-11-2008

Watching this clip… I hesitate to continue but still made my self-strong enough to go ahead. To be frank after seeing such clip... I got fever.
First thing cross my mind was “did Gandhi really born and lived there” what would he say if still alive.
And why are they pointing at policeman. What happen to the parents who raised such children. Shame on them.
Spending so much to send their kids to get good education and this is what they have learned.
When will people realize VIOLENCE IS NOT AT ALL A SOLUTION.

I don’t really know the actual reason behind the cruel incident.
But the way they being thrashed by the animals. The attack went on even when the victim is unconscious.

The email sender did ask” Still want to send your children to study in India?”
NO AWAY. I will never send them to India even for a vacation. Its’ not that im pointing at everyone in India. But I prefer to be on safe side.

MYTAMILCHANNEL VISIT TO AGATHIAR HOME.

Members of MTC decided to visit and spent time at a orphanage home (Agathiars). Suggested by Thev. I take this opportunity to thank him for that adorable and kindest suggestion. Some Members invite non-member too to make this event more meaningful. Through my visit there I realize how the kids live a life without a choice…I will say for them of course it’s not a choice cause they have horrible histories and gone parents. This is a place to continue their life. A better place to avoid the nightmare returns. The kids seem to be comfortable with what they have.
There is more to write, but let me continue with photos.

Thanks http://raajarox.com/ for a wonderful snaps..

TERRIBLE FOOD

Friday Morning (12 DEC 08) , I N Hubby went for prayers at Thandayutha baani temple(Sentul). He shave his head. I hate that look without his hair. It was early morning 6.30am prayers. After that we went to RESTAURANT opposite the temple (I prefer not to highlight the name). That restaurant was famous once a upon a time. But When I entered, I realized everything is petetic now. Still we carry on N order Puri, Rawa Thosai.

Puri yeakkkkkkkkk!!!!taste so horrible. I did not like it. My hot Nescafe sucks. Than comes Rawa thosai. Guess what.. when my hubby unfold the thosai, he found rat shit in it. How come a cook didn’t realize that. My hubby got Really Pissed off and shouted at them. We didn’t pay a single sen for it, even the manager never try to calm us. He just carry on with his work and greeted new customer who walk in. we were making a loud noise at counter hoping this new customer would understand and walk away.. but all in vain.. they just smile at us and carry on sitting to place their order.. Maybe regular customer…
hmmmmm… until now wondering what could be in my puri that it tasted bad.

If you cheat, you're only cheating yourself!

Did anyone of you came across about a student cheated on his SPM Paper by asking his fren to sat for (each paper RM 200).. WOW.. High pay.. The article appeared in November issue of “THE WOMEN’S WEEK”.. I got to know from NST 29 November 2008. Education Ministry director-General Datuk Alimuddin Mohd Dom, who expressed disbelief that there was such a case, said he would look into the claim.
http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/Saturday/National/2414754/Article/index_html

My question is putting us as parents… Are you going to let your kids cheat? Even when you knew, they could not score to qualify for their further studies.

The Cheater (Fear Street) same story as above. Carter Phillips is under so much pressure to do well on her math achievement test that she gets Adam to take it for her, in exchange for one date. But Adam wants more than a date--much more. Carter has to do whatever he asks, or he'll tell her secret. As his control over her gets more and more unbearable, she wonders in desperation if murder is the only way out.

I came across this news at NST 27TH November 2008…

43 year old Pujiono Cahyo Widayanto the head of an Islamic boarding school (Ponpes Miftahul Jannah) in Bedono, Jambu, Semarang, Central Java, in August 2008 informally married (nikah siri) Lutfiana Ulfa, 11 years and 10 months old, who had just begun studies at a local junior high school, but has now taken up wifely duties at home.
Any comment on the above
well, this one will freak u out more

He also intends to marry two other girls, aged 9 and 7. Of these latter two, Syech Puji says that neither has begun menstruating, so he will refrain from interfering with them, while Ulfa has already entered puberty.

SPEECHLESS

MUMBAI UNDER ATTACK

I hate violence "killing, rape, war"

Coordinated series of attacks took place across Mumbai - in the crowded Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station; two five-star hotels, the Oberoi Trident and Taj Mahal Palace & Tower; Leopold's, a popular tourist restaurant; and the police headquarters in South Mumbai.
Picture of terrorist

One of the tomb of The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, was gutted in fire

Luggage of passengers lie scattered on a blood splattered platform at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station in Mumbai, India.

If Your husband is having affair.

Ere goes another topic. Always in my head. So wat could be ur next step?

a) Will you forgiving him? I mean like nothing happen and start back happy life...
b) Or you leave him? Hmmm which means I can stand on my own... I do not need youuuuuu!

I have highlighted the above subject due to the latest case of famous actor and actress.. Norman Hakim, Abby Abadi and Memey.. abby choose option A when he cheated on her with Faradhiya. Luck is on his side when she gave him another chance to correct it. Now he did it again (maybe he should sing “oopps I did it again” Britney)... This time she choose B... Fair enough.. All I can say is she have given him a chance and he did not use it wisely.

No one of us ever wish to face such situation; in fact nobody is ready because they do not want to. If u r asking me I have to say that it is unfaithfulness cannot be tolerated in a marriage. It takes tooo much effort to build back the trust and love, if it is possible.

Bond... James Bond

I watch James Bond. This would be my second Bond, which I watched. Never had seen any of Bond movies before because I hated that name. Bond … James Bond... wat the heck is that.

However, this one … I mean Daniel Craig attracted me. Gorgeous looking and great skills of tackling villains... Moreover, uncontrollable Bond. He never listens, I like that...
About the movie…naaaahhhhh... I’m not good in describing or commenting. All I can say is it’s a entertaining movie..

Caught My Attention

Just wanted to share this with you guys. This article which written by shakunthala devi Has Caught My Attention.

THE SUNDAY STAR

2 MARCH 2008

HAVE YOU WATCHED THEM SLEEP ?

By Shakunthala Devi

I RECEIVED a message on my Friendster account the other day. it was one of those forwarded messages, the type I would usually scan briefly before hitting "delete".
But this message, written in Bahasa Malaysia, started with a simple question that caught my attention. A rough translation of it goes like this:
"Have you ever watched your parents while they were sleep? Your father's body, once big and strong is weaker. Wisps of grey peek out from his hair, wrinkles now "scar" his forehead and face.
"This man works hard every day and would sacrifice anything to make sure his family is provided for and his children get the best education possible.
“or how about your mother, whose soft hands once cuddled and held you close when you were a baby? Now, those hands are dry and rough, bearing evidence of the challenges she faced just for us.
“this woman takes care of our daily needs, constantly nagging and scolding us because of her love for us. But sadly, we often misconstrue her love as control and unfairness.”
I have never thought of watching my parents while they slept. I’ve watched my cousins sleep when they were babies, all round and cuddly and sweet smelling. But watch my parents? No way!
But after reading this message, I realized that there was indeed much truth in it. In fact, my parents do not have to be asleep for me to realize that they have aged.
Just looking at my mother walk tells me that her legs are not as strong as they were before. Or hearing her ask me for help with that flowerpot in the garden, the one she used to be able to push and drag around the garden without my help.
Or watching my dad lift a 10kg bag of rice. I can easily carry that now. I am young, but to him, it is a struggle.
What do all these observations tell me?
Yes my parents have aged. They are ageing, just as I am ageing, bust as I age towards my best years and become stronger, they in turn are becoming weaker. They were once the caregivers and I the receiver. In time, I know our roles will reverse. Like it or not, want it to or not, this is life.
I supposed I have always subconsciously thought that my parents would always be with me, never growing old. It took that message make me realize that my parents are not immortal. That they, too, will one day leave the world and me. Until then, I will make good use of our time together.
By the way, I’m forwarding that message to all my family and friends to remind them to appreciate what they have now. It will not last..

WELL SHANKUNTHALA DEVI. I WILL DEFINITELY SHARE THIS WITH MY FAMILY AND FRENS

THANK YOU

CANCEL DIWALI CELEBRATION

My first boy had chicken pox. Whenever he scratched too vigorously, we reminded him not to scratch, and then he will rub the spots hard He was even running a high temperature for several days and was sick. Seeing him such makes my heart miserable. I wish I could help him to take all the pains away. He is just 4 years old. I could not utter a word when I’m with him. I will burst out crying if I try to calm him down whenever he complains of itchiness or pain.
Well, for diwali , I have canceled my entire plan. For me the most important matter is that he recovers soon.

SHOPPING

Yesterday I went shopping at Brickfields with my sisters “Bani & Suba”. Three of us were walking around looking at clothes and other various items. Those decorative stuffs are damn expensive. I guess I will deco my home with only greeting cards.

At most stores sellers were following so close behind that make us have the uncomfortable feeling. If I do not buy... Definitely, they will curse or give that sarcastic look.

By the way, I must admit that it was an enjoyable shopping experience. In fact, I did not bargain because the sellers offer the price I expect from them.

We had dinner at GEM Restaurant. What can I say... Such delicious food...
About 9.55pm... I drop my sis’s at home and made move all the way to Taman Melati…
